There are currently no specific tariffs or quotas on aircraft or jet engines

However, the Secretary of Commerce initiated a Section 232 investigation on April 25, 2025, into whether imports of commercial aircraft and jet engines, and parts for commercial aircraft and jet engines cargo trucks threaten to impair national security.

Comments may be submitted by June 3, 2025.
