The law firm of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., announced today that Xiaofeng Xu has joined the Hong Kong office of the firm’s Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Ltd. subsidiary as senior manager for customs and international trade. In this position he will help companies navigate the complex customs and trade rules in China and other Asia-Pacific markets.

Mr. Xu began his career as a customs officer with China Customs, where he specialized in audit proceedings. Since then he has been in the private sector, primarily as a consultant for several compliance firms in Hong Kong and Singapore. In these roles he was instrumental in building and training teams that advised companies on all aspects of customs and trade compliance in China. He also directly assisted clients with customs regulations, free trade agreements, supply chain security, export controls and sanctions, and international logistics in Asia-Pacific jurisdictions.
Mr. Xu holds a master of science degree in supply chain management from the National University of Singapore, is a member of the China Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is qualified to practice law in China.
