About The Webinar

This webinar will focus on critical elements of USMCA, including rules of origin, new provisions, and enforcement mechanisms It will also provide practical guidance to ensure your company is not only in compliance, but also audit-ready. The USMCA (CUSMA/T-MEC) went into effect on July 1, 2020 and imposed higher originating requirements for some products, including automotive goods, steel, and aluminum. It also imposed additional labor and environmental provisions, and protections for intellectual property and trade in digital services.

As we begin year 4 of the agreement, we will review:

  • the rules of origin under USMCA
  • some of the most significant changes impacting companies
  • the enforcement landscape and best practices
  • how to prepare for a customs inquiry or cross-border verification
